What are the roads like in Ireland outside Dublin?

The roads in the west of Ireland are generally very good, with a smooth surface. Some visitors may find some of the narrower country roads like those around the Wild Atlantic Way difficult to navigate but this can easily be done with a bit of patience and careful driving.

What do I need to bring with me for my motorhome rental in Ireland?

All drivers, in addition to a valid drivers licence must present a second form of photographic identification. If drivers fail to do so the hire will be annulled, and cancellation costs will apply. Accepted forms of identification include a valid passport and age card.

Is a security deposit required for campervan hire in Ireland?

Yes. All drivers, in addition to a valid driving licence must present a second form of photographic identification. If drivers fail to do so the hire will be annulled, and cancellation costs will apply. Accepted forms of identification include a valid passport and age card.

When will i get the security deposit back from my hire in Ireland?

Providing there has been no insurance claims the deposit (minus costs where needed) will be returned up to 28 days after camper van return date. For full details please carefully read our T&C’s.

Do I need to be insured, for the campervan or motorhome?

No, Full insurance is provided. Drivers must be 25yrs + with a full licence.

Where can I travel/Can I travel outside of Ireland?

Travel outside Ireland is available on request, additional fees will apply to your rental service to cover continental insurance on the vehicle.

Will the campervan have a full fuel tank?

Vehicles will be supplied with a full fuel tank at pick-up and must be returned with the same. If a tank needs to be filled after return, your card will be debited for the amount required.

Can I hire bikes with my campervan?

Bike hire is available for an additional €5 per person per day.
Bikes are available in 3 sizes – Junior, Teen and Adult.
The hire comes with bike racks for your Irish campervan.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen for my camper van hire?

We can provide bed linen & towels at an additional cost.

When do I collect the campervan?

Pick up is strictly between 2pm and 4:30pm. If you are unable to pick up at this time, please contact us at least 48hrs in advance.

When do I need to return motorhome to the campervan rental company?

Drop-off is between 9:00am and 11:00am. If you are unable to drop-off at this time, please contact us at least 48hrs in advance.

Where will I pick up the campervan?

Collection and drop off locations are situated at:
Rathdrinagh, Beauparc, Co. Meath C15PY76 – the region and ideal starting point for your campervans rental Ireland.

Where do I park my own car during my rental period?

Secure parking is available at the site for the duration of your motorhome holidays.

Can I be collected and brought to the pickup point?

Collection (e.g. from Dublin Airport if you visit Ireland) is available upon request and price will be quoted in advance of your RV rental Ireland. We are located close to Dublin Airport.

Do you supply gas bottles/Is gas supplied for the campervan rental?

1 bottle of gas will be supplied.

Will you provide Roadside Assistance to customers?

Full roadside assistance is provided across Ireland for any campervan maintenance issues.

Are there Parking Sensors on the campervans?

No there are no parking sensors on the campervans and motorhomes, however, there is a reverse camera.

What about entertainment on a rainy day?

All campers are fitted with Smart TVs

Is there a BBQ included when I rent?

BBQ’s are available at an additional fee.

Are there cooking facilities in every campervan?

Yes, all of our luxury campervans include a kitchen meaning they are an easy way to discover the Emerald Isle at your own pace.

Can my dog come with me?

Yes, you can bring your dog with you to explore Ireland in a campervan. You can bring two dogs with you when you rent one of our campervans! Just let us know what breed they are first before touring Ireland.
