Day 2: Horn Head → Fanad Head Lighthouse → Portsalon
Wake up slowly, brew a coffee, and enjoy the freedom that campervan travel brings before heading towards Horn Head.
This scenic drive is one of Donegal’s hidden gems. The roads twist along dramatic cliffs with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the kind of place where you’ll stop every few minutes just to take another photo.

Day three brings one of the highlights of the entire trip: Slieve League Cliffs.
While many visitors flock to the Cliffs of Moher, Slieve League offers something even more dramatic – with fewer crowds and a much wilder atmosphere.
The cliffs tower above the Atlantic Ocean and the views are genuinely unforgettable. If you enjoy walking, there are several trails where you can take in the coastline from different angles.
